Following the formation of the Rifles, Devonshire and Dorset Regimental Welfare funds were passed to the Rifles and combined with others to form a much larger welfare fund. This larger fund delivers a much greater ability to support members of the Rifles and veterans of those forming Regiments who invested in the fund.
There is a wide range of public funding and many non-public charities and organisations which assist and support serving and veterans. All applications are dealt with confidentially and considered on the basis of need.
